Steam boiler safety operation rules? Harm of impurities in water to steam boilers?

Steam boiler operators should be familiar with the performance and structure of each component of the steam boiler, clarify the installation position and function of each main component, and prohibit untrained personnel from entering the steam boiler room to operate the equipment.

1. Basic requirements

1. The steam boiler room shall meet the fire safety requirements and be equipped with the required fire fighting equipment; other personnel are not allowed to enter.

2. The stoker workers meet the basic living conditions of the enterprise and have passed the training to obtain the stoker job certificate.

3. Steam boiler operators should be familiar with the performance and structure of each component of the steam boiler, clarify the installation position and function of each main component, and prohibit untrained personnel from entering the steam boiler room to operate the equipment.

4. Through the training of operation and maintenance personnel, master the structural performance and maintenance work of the equipment used, so as to be able to carry out inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting.

2. Inspection and preparation before the start of the steam boiler system

The normal start of the boiler can be divided into two types: cold start and hot start.

Preparation before cold start, before the boiler starts, all aspects should be checked:

A External and internal inspection of the steam boiler.

B. Check whether the management of each electrical equipment can be normal.

C. Whether the valve instrument cock can be opened or closed normally.

The inspection and acceptance are qualified to ensure that the boiler parts are free of defects and meet the requirements of the starting state before starting.

Harm of impurities in water to steam boilers

Scale: reduce heat transfer, increase fuel consumption of enterprises, reduce boiler output; reduce design strength of construction machinery; increase maintenance and management costs, reduce boiler service life; increase resistance to water circulation in pipes

Corrosion: The acidity of boiler water will cause boiler corrosion, and the excessive alkalinity of boiler water will cause caustic embrittlement, which will affect the service life and safety of the boiler

Foaming or sparkling water: steam and a lot of water, causing equipment pollution and blockage: the boiler water level is not clear, affecting the safety of operation.
