Both the condenser and the evaporator are heat exchangers. The so-called heat exchanger is a device that transfers heat between two or more fluids with different temperatures, so it is also called a heat exchanger. As such, they are structured differently, but work the same. A device that transfers heat through the refrigerant through the external medium on the surface of the container, that is, all heat exchangers. The same goes for evaporators and condensers when it comes to factors that affect heat transfer. The heat transfer is related to the heat transfer area, heat transfer temperature difference and heat transfer coefficient.

1. Different working forms, the condenser is to reduce the temperature of the medium, liquefy it, and release external heat. The evaporator absorbs external heat through endothermic gasification of the medium. That is to say, the refrigerant changes from gas to liquid, which is a process of condensation and heat generation, and the pressure in it is generally very high. The refrigerant of the evaporator is a process of evaporation and heat absorption from liquid to gas, and the internal pressure is generally low.

2. Appearance difference: the shell side of the evaporator is water, and the tube side is refrigerant. The condenser is just the opposite, and the appearance difference is not big, but the material of the evaporator tube box is generally better than that of the condenser. In the case of casting the head tube, it is usually the condenser. In a word, the condenser is one of the main heat exchange equipment of the refrigeration device. It cools and condenses the superheated vapor of the refrigerant discharged from the rise of the air conditioner into a refrigerant liquid, and releases heat in the cooling medium. The commonly used cooling medium is water and air.

The evaporator is the cooling system equipment for heat exchange between the refrigerant and the low temperature heat source, and is one of the main heat exchange equipment of the refrigerant device. The refrigerant liquid in the evaporator evaporates at low pressure and low temperature, absorbing the heat of the cooling medium. The evaporator is located between the throttle valve and the air conditioner return main, or between the supply and ventilation pipes connected to the steam separation equipment.

4. Evaporator is a heat-absorbing component, which uses liquid low-temperature refrigerant and the characteristics of low pressure and volatile, converts it into steam, absorbs the heat of the cooling medium, and achieves the purpose of cooling. Divided from the structure, it can be divided into boxes, tubes, plates and other types. The condenser converts the compressed high-temperature and high-pressure gas coolant into low-temperature and high-pressure liquid through the compressor, releases heat to the outside, and inhales it once with the evaporator to achieve heat preservation.
